Roles and Responsibilities
Zonal Head: To ensure sustainable growth and portfolio quality for the Supply Chain Finance in the assigned zone
a. New Business Development & Customer Relationship Management
• To identify & develop relationship with business prospects and opportunities in the market.
• Understand customer finance requirements & accordingly advice & provide customized solutions
• Maintain relationship & increase share of business with high value customers
• To achieve & maintain customer retention as per desired levels
• To handle all escalated customer query and complaints
• Achieve the desired profitability for the zone.
b. Anchor Development and Management
• Manage Alliances and maintain relationship with empaneled Anchors across categories
• Generate new business opportunities and increase share of business with the empaneled Anchors
• Identify Anchors with business potential and initiate empanelment in coordination with Anchor/ Product team
• Proactively handle any escalation, queries, and complaints from Anchors
• Study competitors and provide inputs for product benchmarking to Anchor/ Product team.
c. Operations & Monitoring
• To have close liaison with other divisions, mainly Credit, Risk, Operations, Legal, and other back-end support teams to enable day-to-day operations of the field team for
smooth customer service delivery.
• Monitoring and ensuring the portfolio quality on regular basis through timely payment collections and follow up reports from the team.
• To identify any negative market/ customer development and suggest risk mitigations and action steps to safeguard company’s interests.
• Ensure all compliances are maintained
• Ensure adequate action to solve delinquent customers such as legal support, Market Information, Anchor information etc
Desired Skills and Experience
• MBA Finance/ CA
• Possess 5 – 9 years of relevant experience in B2B, supply chain finance lending across sectors i.e., structured finance products, mid-market corporate lending preferably
with an NBFC.
• Be brilliant with numbers, analysing financial statements, interpreting data and solving problems and at the same time be able to build business relationships, talk to
various levels of an organisation (CXOs to analysts), get work done by various people.
• Ability to structure, discuss the deal contours with the relevant stakeholders – internal and external, and execute the transactions to meet the client’s complex
financing requirements (end to end) within the purview of business and regulatory requirements.
• Be personable and have a presence; and be able to hold conversations and negotiations.
• Present / articulate / position an idea compellingly with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Make sense of the macros –economic analysis, sectoral drivers, what regulators do.
• Possess a good eye for detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Think strategically – convey as much in stakeholder conversations and also aid in thought leadership within the team
